A New Zealand start-up may be the answer to underperforming projects in the construction industry. Acuite founders, David and Antonia Speight, know first-hand about the impact of failed risk management, poor subcontractor performance, time delays and poor estimating practices – both come from a construction background and describe themselves to be ‘extremely passionate’ about the industry.
Their solution to underperformance is the cloud-based application, Acuite. Acuite provides real-time analysis of critical performance metrics to enable better risk management and maximisation of value and performance. The application is aimed at mid-tier to large scale commercial construction firms with an annual turnover of $50-300million. Watch this space – Acuite will initially be rolled out in New Zealand and Australia, but the aim is for global utilisation.
