Construction (temporarily) halted in Christchurch

In a rather odd turn of events a Christchurch building site has been shut down while WorkSafe investigates why a crane had toppled over. The Crane is owned by Thermosash and was being used on a Ganellen building site at 148 Victoria Street. When complete the building will house retail and office spaces.

No one was injured and the road was apparently closed this morning to conduct the investigation.
