Wednesday’s Herald reported another positive development in the construction sector, with enabling works having recently started on what it says was formerly ‘Auckland’s biggest construction hole’.
The Soho development in Ponsonby is driven by Progressive Enterprises and will be made up of supermarket, office and apartment buildings. This is part of a wider $200 million scheme named Vinegar Lane.
With all that is going on for the construction sector in Christchurch at the moment, it is very encouraging to see that significant developments are also continuing to move forward in other parts of the country. Long may it continue.
